Biography
Alex’s passion for acting began at a young age when, a few weeks shy of his 7th birthday, he wrote a letter to an agent asking if he they would represent him as an actor. His candidness and self-confidence in his approach was impressive and the agent quickly signed him on and he started heading out to auditions. The belief in himself was well founded, as he booked his first audition outing, a pivotal role played opposite Jon Voight in the feature film The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
His career continued to flourish as he booked lead, supporting and recurring roles in films and television series including RV with Robin Williams, X-Men 3:The Last Stand directed by Brett Ratner, Disney’s The Invisible, Supernatural, Tooth Fairy, Smallville, Harper’s Island, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Signed Sealed and Delivered and Cedar Cove, to name a few.
Alex is also an accomplished voice actor having worked on several series such as Martha Speaks, Dinosaur Train, Peanuts and many more. His work has been recognized with several nominations for Young Artists Award, which resulted in two awards for his performance in the feature film Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the television movie, Living Out Loud.
Now attending New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Alex continues to act while exploring his creative side in learning about writing and directing as well as other areas of filmmaking. Alex is also a certified scuba diver and enjoys rugby, basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf and fly-fishing.
